Some Pub Serve Notes

This month I attended the Pub Serve Meeting in Kathy's place. Here are some items that I thought I would share with everyone:

All media (audiobooks, DVDs, CDs, etc.) should be secured with a rubber band before being placed in bins to leave the library.

A rubber band can be used to secure a paperback book if someone is worried about damage during transit; a rubber band should not be used with a hardcover book.

Magazines should be placed in an envelope with a routing slip on the front of the envelope, (envelopes prevent damage.)

Jessica forwarded everyone the email about properly entering names (for new accounts) when the person has a prefix or suffix to their name, (e.g. Dr. John Smith, Jr.) Let me know if you have not seen the email.
