Hello Everyone,
First, we have new routing slips which print five to a page. There are master templates located in the Staff Binder at the circulation desk (filed in both the 'circulation' and 'forms' sections) and also within the front covers of the twin routing slip binders which are also at circ. There are more copies at Reference in the VC binder and in front of the routing slip surplus located behind the typewriter in the office.
We could save paper and produce more slips than we have now by reprinting the new five per page template on our surplus of three per page sheets, but that would result in about 130% more ink used.
Cindy and I will be able to print off routing slips with pre-printed destinations for DVD's as the needs arise.
Second, temporarily atop the paper storage cabinet is a plastic basket where you can place any reusable paper, including unclaimed paper found in the printer, old event flyers, junk mail, et cetera, so that we can use it for printing routing slips, paging lists and more. Don't forget to check that the paper you are reusing is void of sensitive information such as patron ID's and such!
Thank you,
Tristan
