Closing Procedures reminder

All staff who work any day end shift at the Circulation Desk, please make sure to review the closing procedures. Recently the heater and computers at the Circulation Desk have been left on. Obviously, the heater is the more important issue - as we don't want the building to catch on fire. However, when Sierra is left open, it can tie up the patron records on screen, and other libraries or CLAMS may be trying to work on them in the early morning - so it's best to just shut the whole computer down. My own personal feeling is that we can save on energy and resources, etc. Although anyone can take of these items, it just seems to make sense have the person/people attending the Circulation Desk assume these responsibilities.

Thank you for your help in this matter! I do appreciate it.
Cindy
