Kathy and I are organizing an End of Summer Library Clean-Up Day, and the goal is to have as many of the staff and volunteers as possible spend a Monday getting this place settled down and in shape for the winter.
Breakfast and lunch will be provided. Staff can choose pay or comp for their time.
Some of the items on the To Do List include:
- thorough shelf reading
- cleaning and organizing of back room
- book repair and processing to clear shelves in back
- weeding and labeling of children's video tapes
- weeding non-fiction in preparation for YA non-fiction merging
- pulling books for repair
- I'm sure we'll think of other things...
